They are looking for a qualified CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT with post qualification experience of 12 - 15 years for their operations in EAST AFRICA. Candidate with prior experience from Trading or manufacturing sectors is preferred.

The incumbent will be managing and supervising all Accounting staff within East Africa.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be qualified ACA/ACCA/FCA with minimum 10 years post qualification experience. The candidate should have prior experience in Trading or Manufacturing sectors.

Other Skills required:

10 years related working experience with FC experience.
Proficient in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, accounting.
Hands on Tally experience.
Broad understanding of statutory compliance issues in East Africa (eg, VAT, Tax returns, etc)
Working experience in ERP

Job Description

Principal Responsibility:

Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions of EA.
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
Supervise accounting activities and operations of EA.
Planning and arranging competitive working capital.
Ensure adequate risk management.
Maintain good banking relationships.
Preparation of monthly management reports on timely and informative basis.
Responsible for financial and accounting compliance internally and externally.
Effective tax planning and management.
Streamline and improve operations of the regional finance offices.
Establish SOP and enforce effective implementation.
Supervise administration, warehousing, logistics and documentation process locally.
Support and coordinate ERP implementation across the region.
Integration of M&A and other business development projects.
Any projects/duties as delegated from time to time.
