Our client is looking to fill an urgent role of Finance and Administrative Controller for their operation in Angola. The incumbent will be responsible for Accounting, Treasury, control of the management, Direction of the Human Resources, legal service, logistics, general service and purchases.  

The ideal candidate will be in the age group of 35-50 years with CA/ MBA Finance/ ICWA degree with exposure in Construction sector.

Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Legal, logistics, general service and purchases ensuring efficient management of each department with the budget.

  • Participation in the strategic development of the company, namely for the operational application of   the strategic orientation of the company; 
  • Elaborate financial demonstrations of the company and entrust it delivers annually to the Department of the Finances;
  • Control of the closing and delivers of them you count auditors and consolidated
  • Overall responsible for all payable s and receivable ensuring all compliance are based  on the company policies.
  • Administer the cash flow of the company, with an aim to resources needs identification or analysis of the options of investments for the excess resources;
  • Will be responsible to set internal controls to ensure proper utilization on revenue and resources.
  • Management of the operations in capitals of investment; 
  • Management of the treasury and of the financing, the relation with the banks; 
  • All banking activities related to the companies operation 
  • It maintain contacts with managers of banks, brokerage firms of insurance, clients and supplying, making closer relationships, doing quotation of products and solving eventual problems or disputes of responsibility of its area; 
  • Responsible for planning, budgeting and controls.
  • Control of the financial communication and of the relation with the stock holders and institutional investors
  • Overall responsible for overall MIS for the organization.
  • Responsible for vendor negotiation, logistics and stock control
  • Control of the fiscal and legal matters, of the administration of the personnels and general service; 
  • Will ensure that all of the members of staff of the company are hired according to the Angolan Law,including the expatriates, assuring to the Angolan law and the candidates the pertinent lawful rights; 
  • Assure the development, motivation of the team and the identification of training needs and professional development of his subordinate and of the training programs.
