Age: 25 – 35 yrs

Education & Skills

  • MBA (Marketing) from premier Business School / reputed institute.
  • Good knowledge of marketing, sales, commercials, distribution systems, network, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and writing proficiency in English.
  • Good Computer literacy and IT skills.
  • Good leadership skills. Capable of leading team including Managers and staff employees.
  • Functional expertise, decision making, planning and execution, stress management and analytical skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 12 years Food/FMCG industry experience of Marketing & Sales functions, with demonstrable successes in the area of core FMCG Brand Management.
  • Experience of dealing with multi brand/product portfolio in a big Company.
  • Exposure to food products is an added advantage.
Job Description

Overall accountability of managing marketing activities for the designated product portfolio in keeping with the objectives set out for the concerned brands & products.

Requires minimal supervision.

Lead supervisory and managerial roles on new initiatives and strategies.

Job Specific Comments

  • Responsible for planning & execution of all aspects of the marketing function for the assigned product portfolio.
  • Planning and executing new initiatives and strategies for improving the products’ market share, growth and contribution.
  • Strategizing and continuous working towards brand building, brand nurturing, brand positioning, brand health, etc.
  • Analyzing market intelligence on competition, lifestyle trends, consumer behavior, market compositions, region-wise and product-wise sales scenarios and strategizing accordingly.
  • Market Research pertaining to the designated categories like Brand Health Tracks, Usage & Attitude Studies, Concept Test, Syndicated Retail & Consumer Studies, Packaging Research, to name a few.
  • Developing annual marketing plan for the concerned products in collaboration with organizational plans.
  • Developing and implementing communication strategies for the products/ brands.
  • SWOT analysis and its effective use/implementation to find out the market competition and challenges.
  • Dealing with commercial activities pertaining to marketing functions viz vendor management & all executions.
  • Managing and coordinating with all external agencies related to the function.
  • Media planning across all available & evolving vehicles.
  • Organizing and conducting community outreach & CSR programs.

Budgeting and goals/targets setting.

  • Managing, supervising & developing the team reporting into the position.
  • Building competent, effective, efficient and result oriented team/organization.
  • All relevant record keeping and reporting.
  • Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Any other job which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
